Twyford Charity Family Fun Run, 2018

It's time to register for Twyford' Together's annual Charity Family Fun Run. This year, as an added incentive, we're offering a £100 cash prize to the school with the most runners (relative to size). We can't wait to see which school wins!

When and where is it?

Sunday 7 October from 9am at King George's Field, Twyford.

How do I enter?

Please fill out Barnes Fitness' form. You can also enter on the day subject to race limits and an additional £2 (cash only). Online entry will close at midnight on Tuesday 2 October.

What time is each race taking place?

We have six races which have been split according to school year groups. Mums, dads and business teams have the option of wearing fancy dress in our 10.45am race. There’s a prize for the best costume! Please note, all timings are approximate and there will be a short warm-up before each race.

9:00 - Registration/Number Pick Up
(Please enter online if you can so we can avoid delaying the start!)
9:30 - Pre-school toddle (100m)
9:45 - Reception and Years 1 & 2 (1km)
10:05 - Years 3 & 4 (1km)
10:25 -  Presentation of prizes for first three races
10:45 -  Years 10+, mums & dads and business teams (2km)
11:00 - Twyford Comets' event
11:20 - Years 5 & 6 (2km)
11:40 - Years 7-9 (2km)
12:00 - Presentation of prizes

How much does it cost to enter?

Entry fee is £6 per runner (£3 for pre-schoolers). Parents are welcome to run alongside their children without paying an additional entry fee. All profits go to Twyford Charities Together.

Are there prizes?

Each entrant will receive a medal and banana (thanks to Waitrose).Plus, there are prizes for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd boy and girl in each race.

Will there be refreshments?

Twyford District Youth and Community Centre will be selling bacon butties and refreshments at their pop-up cafe.

Is there entertainment for the children?

There will be a bouncy castle, face painting and crafts at HaaHoos' stall.
